We expect the team members to have fun and a sportive game

The following rules are to be followed. Rules are subjected to change

1. During the tournament all participants are expected to behave professionally and should avoid abusive language/gestures/ questioning umpires decisions. The participants must also remember to treat other players with respect as well as have fun.

o Cursing is constituted as abusive, hateful, or malignant language or behavior.

2. The Team Captain is responsible for informing all of the teammates about when the team will be playing and on what dates. Our responsibility is to tell the Captain when his team will be playing.

3. At no account is Scarborough Organizers held accountable for any injuries happening during a game.

4. Each innings consists of 15 overs and every bowler can bowl a maximum of 3 overs.

5. Only 5 fielders can field on the leg side at any point of time (bowler & keeper are not considered as a fielders in this regard).

6. Byes, over throws, wides and all no balls are applicable in this tournament. But LBW and Leg byes are not applicable. Each no ball will get an extra ball and a run, but no free-hit.

7. If any player is deemed to be violent, ill-cooperative, or dangerous to anyone around him, he will be removed, and possibly a police report will be filed.

8. In the case of a tie in a match where runs both teams scored are the same, the deciding factor of who wins will be decided by super over. The super over is a reduced version of the match that consists only of one over (six balls) and two wickets for each team and the winning team of the "Super Over" is declared as the winner of the match.

9. During bowling your arm must be completely straight, zero degrees of bending is allowed, any noticeable bending of the arm will result in being called a 'no ball' and three or most of such deliveries will result in loss of bowling privilege.

10. Minimum eight player and maximum eleven players, a written list must be presented at the time of the coin toss

11. Umpires reserve every right to declare a no ball with or without warning, if any bowler delivers under arm or throw ball.

12. Hard tennis balls will be used.

13. The manager will be the interacting person with the organizing committee off field and the captain will be the interacting person with umpires on field.

14. Teams are advised to avoid any unnecessary delay before or during the game to maintain our time schedule.

15. Organizing committee will reserve full authority to intervene in such case off field and umpires will have full authority to intervene in field.

16. Umpire's decisions will be final throughout the tournament. Any sort of misconducts by any players will result in direct suspension.

17. Organizers reserve the right to change the venue, date time.

18. A team must be ready to play two matches in a day, if required.

19. All teams should also obey the rules from ground authority, which has been attached in the email.

20. If there is rain stopping any match organizers have right to reduce the overs and conduct the match.

21. League stage: If the ground is not playable due to rain (Only organizers will decide), then the match will be cancelled and full entry fee will be refunded.

22. Semi-finals stage: If the ground is not playable due to rain (Only organizers will decide), then the match will be cancelled and half of the entry fee will be refunded.

23. Finals Stage: If the ground is not playable due to rain (Only organizers will decide), then the match will be cancelled and will be announced winners based on the net run rate throughout the tournament.

24. The information collected from all the players can be shared with ground authority and with sponsors for their occasional informative emails.
